LA Sanctuary Studios
was founded by Little Ray Jimenez in 1999 as a rehearsal studio. Situated in the heart of East Los Angeles, originally as a retail store, renovations quickly transformed the space into something more, a recording studio. The building was originally built in 1948 and continues to display the beautiful art deco architecture on its exterior.
The interior design of the studio is all about the acoustics. Little Ray laid down the foundation of concrete. The concrete tracking room sounds live yet tight and precise, which makes recordings and songs pop. The control room is a different world. Once inside, you are greeted with soothing colors, soft couches, sound treatment, and pristine sound.
The studio has continued to expand, and LA Sanctuary Studios is now a recording and film/video production studio.

East LA’s favorite singer, Little Ray,
hails from Delano, CA. With his natural vocal talents and charismatic charm, Little Ray decided it was time to leave the farm life and hit the stage. “There’s Something On Your Mind'', “I Who Have Nothing”, “Leave Her Alone”, are just a few of the hit songs Little Ray recorded and performed.
Little Ray has worked and toured with Thee Midniters, Billy Prestin, Little Richard, The Four Seasons, Jackie Wilson, The Coasters, The Platters, Seymour Stein of Sire Records (signed Madonna, Talking Heads, Ramones), Tina Turner, Sonny and Cher, Chain Reaction who then became Aerosmith, and Mark Guerrero, to name a few, and currently collaborates with Peter A. Barker.
Peter A. Barker has worked with Guns N Roses, Heart, Janes Addiction, Death Cab for Cutie, ZZ Top, and more.
